A brief overview of my Hardware projects.

1 / Distributed Avionics Architecture

 This system has been designed entirely from the ground up from every element from hardware to software, ensuring seamless integration. This allows us to provide unparalleled end-to-end performance for a distributed avionics system at a lower price point. This Data Acquisition system including capability to read Pressure Transducers at over 500Hz and actuate DC devices including Solenoid valves of up to 36V at 15A, and individual boards have been tested for prolonged exposure up to 16-G.

2 / LIVE Head Tracker

Using and ESP32 to perform live head detection using an IR Array over I2C and LCD over SPI. Position of head is sent over wifi hosted at a predesignated IP address.

3 / Remote Control Systems

Designed, scratch-built and flown various remote control planes. All electronic systems of the planes consist of lightweight servos controlled over PWM, brushless DC motors controlled using an electronic speed controller over PWM, and a 2.4 Ghz receiver.

4 / Vulcan ii Electronics

Performed repairs on SMD components including reflow soldering. Created standard operating procedures for validation and quality assurance testing on high pressure and cryogenic electrical equipment. Former electrical lead, current President of SEDS at UC San Diego (2022-2023)

5 / Portable LighT SHOW System

Two LED strips controlled using PWM responded to sound levels based on a sound level sensor over I2C using an ESP 32. A simple user interface was also developed on the ESP32.

SOFTWARE

A brief overview of my Software projects.

1 / ShelterBox Deployment Map

This online map is meant to showcase to showcase the work of ShelterBox, a humanitarian nonprofit focused on emergency supplies in regions like Ukraine. This map was developed using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and the MapBox API. An updated map automatically from an internal database using JavaScript.

2 / Thrust vector PID Controls 

Programmed using MATLAB to simulate thrust vector controls of dual linear actuators and the effects on a liquid bipropellant rocket engine.

3 / SynTHESIZER PROJECT

Led and managed over 20 students in a project to create a synthesiser using MATLAB. Coordinated a standardised SDK with common input, output and parameters to automatically integrate new functions into our overall synthesiser.
